A modern, multi-screen Helios cinema will be opened in the Entertainment and Shopping Centre Sukcesja in Lodz in 2014. Helios S.A. and Fabryka Biznesu Sp. z o.o., Centre inwestor, executed the contrach to open a nine-screen cinema for over 2.000 visitors.

- It will be the first Helios multiplex in Lodz and one of our largest cinemas. We are happy as Lodz is our home town - we have been headquartered here from the beginning -said Tomasz Jagiello, the President of the Management Board of Agora S.A. - I believe that perfect location of Sukcesja, in the city centre, next to the campus of Lodz University of Technology and modern equipment as well as attractive repertoire will make our multiplex popular among Lodz audience.

New cinema shall be equipped in the high - tech audio system and digital projectors enabling 3D screenings. Visitors of the cinema may also purchase food and beverages in the café and coffee bars.

Helios' multiplex will be situated in the entertainment and recreation part of Sukcesja containing also, inter alia, fitness club and playground for children. The centre shall be suited for disabled people.

- We are glad that such a modern multiplex will be built in Sukcesja, especially that entertainment and recreation part of the centre will become an important part of the centre - says Krzysztof Apostolidis, the President of the Management Board of Fabryka Biznesu Sp. z o.o. - New centre will not only be a shopping place but it will become the place where families with children, single people and students will be able to spend free time.

In March 2012, Helios S.A. opened its first multi-screen cinema in Grudziądz. The company plans to open 13 high-tech multiplexes till the end of 2013: in Belchatow, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Kalisz, Kedzierzyn-Kozle, Nowy Sacz, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Tczew.

Helios S.A. is the third largest multi-screen cinema operator in Poland. The company started its operations in 1993. Thanks to the organic growth and successful acquisitions, Helios created a nationwide cinema network comprising 27 cinemas: 25 multiplexes and 2 traditional cinemas fitting 145 screens and over 32 thousand seats. Helios cinemas are present in the largest Polish cities, inter alia, in Warsaw, Lodz, Gdansk, Wroclaw.

Fabryka Biznesu Sp. z o.o. is a company seated in Lodz and investor in the Shopping and Entertainment Centre Sukcesja. The Centre shall be built next to the Lodz University of Technology, near the city centre, the campus belonging to the Lodz University of Technology, the Halls of Lodz International Trade Fairs and national road 1. The centre shall fit, inter alia, shopping mall with food court (172 shops and service shops), entertainment and recreation part, business hotel with conference facilities and two - storey car park. This investment is considered to be a key one in the region by The Lodz Office of the Marshal. The construction works will start in 2012 and the opening is planned for 2014.
