Agora Group Unveils New Visual Identity – A Fresh Image for the Media and Advertising Leader

The company’s new logo highlights its dynamic transformation from a traditional newspaper publisher to a modern media group. Today, with a well-diversified portfolio of brands, Agora not only maintains a strong position in the media, advertising, and entertainment markets but also offers the largest commercial reach among media groups in Poland.

The change in Agora Group’s visual identity is a response to its long-term evolution and expanded operations. Agora Group is a multi-dimensional structure supporting the growth of various media, entertainment, and advertising initiatives while maintaining the consistency and uniqueness of each area. The new visual identity aims to reflect the company’s transformation and emphasize its position as a dynamic, modern leader in its industry.

Agora's new logo combines minimalism and professionalism. The characteristic red accent, symbolizing the company’s Polish roots and social commitment, has been retained, while the subtle gap in the logo refers to openness to change.

"Agora is one of the strongest and most recognizable brands in Polish media. Its well-designed logo has been in use since the 1990s, unchanged. However, over the course of 35 years, Agora has transformed from a newspaper publisher into a modern media group. By changing our logo, we aimed to combine the tradition and historical legacy of Agora with an openness to the development and changes that are now shaping the media landscape," says Anna Marucha, Corporate Communications Director at Agora Group.

The new logo was designed by the renowned designer Jacek Utko, who is also responsible for the graphic design of Gazeta Wyborcza. The entire visual identity and graphic materials were created by a team of graphic designers from the Wyborcza multimedia studio.

"Agora as a brand deliberately does not emphasize the bold character of its logo – it is minimalist and universal, acting as an umbrella under which a variety of brands with their own identities and personalities, recognized by a broad audience, exist," says Jacek Utko, the designer of the logo.

Agora Group is one of the largest media groups in Poland, operating since 1989 and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1999. Its key ventures include: Helios S.A. – the operator of the largest cinema chain in the country in terms of the number of venues, as well as the owner of the film production and distribution company NEXT FILM; radio activities under the Eurozet Group, which includes 9 stations from the TOP 20 most-listened-to stations in Poland, including Radio ZET, Radio TOK FM, Radio Złote Przeboje, and Antyradio; AMS – the leader in Poland's outdoor advertising market; Gazeta Wyborcza – the most popular opinion-forming newspaper in Poland and a leader in the digital transformation of Polish press; and Gazeta.pl – one of Poland's leading online portals, along with popular thematic sites such as Sport.pl, Moto.pl, and Plotek.pl. Through its publishing house, Agora also publishes and distributes books, music publications, and films.
