AMS introduces EKO Premium Citylight – the company will plant a tree for each purchased panel

AMS introduces EKO Premium Citylight – the company will plant a tree for each purchased panel

AMS introduces the EKO Premium Citylight to its offer – another solution based on eco values, taking into account comprehensive care for the environment. The company will plant a tree for each panel purchased on behalf of the client. This is another eco-product in the portfolio of AMS, being the OOH market leader.

For a long time now, AMS has been implementing advanced projects that fit into the company's corporate social responsibility strategy, with care for the environmental challenges of the today’s world. Currently, the AMS EKO offer consists of: the system of EKO bus shelters with green roofs, the biggest in Poland network of EKO solar poles, EKO Busbacks and a set of pro-ecological EKO Backlight solutions.

The new product is another step in the green strategy of AMS.  EKO Premium Citylight – besides a number of unique features on the scale of the entire market, it offers exceptional added value, i.e. a special contribution to natural resources. Together with each EKO Premium Citylight carrier used in the AMS campaign, it will plant a tree on behalf of the advertiser.

The uniqueness of EKO Premium Citylight is determined by its permanent features.

  • It is an advertising medium placed only in the bus/tram stop shelter equipped with a green roof, which reduces the concentration of CO2 in the air.
  • Each shelter is safe for birds. The special marking prevents them from colliding with the glass walls of the stops.
  • The carriers are equipped with energy-saving LED lighting, and the equivalent of energy used to illuminate the shelters comes from renewable energy, in accordance with the EKO Premium Tauron certificate.
  • Trees will be planted with each panel used in the campaign implemented in this model.

“Just one tree planted contributes to the reduction of 6 kg of CO2 per year.  This, along with other factors, determines the breakthrough of the new product, namely EKO Premium Citylights. The experience of AMS as a pioneer in the application of this type of solutions in Poland shows that this is what our recipients expect.  We are even happier that we can offer another eco-solution to all our clients,” says Grażyna Gołębiowska, marketing director at AMS. In addition, each advertiser will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the campaign involving planting trees, i.e. the implementation of the added value accompanying the campaign on EKO Premium Citylights,” he adds.

EKO Premium Citylight is another solution in the AMS portfolio that implements the goals of green economy on a large scale. As the market leader, AMS has been implementing the strategy of responsible development for many years, introducing new innovative and environmentally-friendly products and solutions. AMS as the only operator in Poland has several dozen EKO bus/tram shelters in the largest Polish cities (in Warsaw, Poznań, Kraków, Szczecin and Lublin). For several years, the company has been co-creating and developing smart cities in Poland, introducing furniture arranged to match the city space, and to combine advertising needs with the spirit of ecology. These activities also became a benchmark for the entire market.

The eco-friendly initiatives of AMS have been recognised by the advertising industry, marketers and independent organizations. During the Krakow Carbon Footprint Summit in 2021 AMS received the Carbon Footprint Challenge Award; the jury appreciated green stops, EKO solar poles, EKO Backlights and other activities significantly contributing to the protection of the planet.  In addition, the EKO shelter and EKO pole became the finalists of the Good Design 2021 competition.
