    Helios is back in the game! Opening of 50 Helios cinemas across Poland already on 21 May after midnight

    The night between Thursday and Friday, at 0:10 a.m. on 21 May, Helios will again invite viewers to its cinemas all over Poland. Just after midnight, all 50 cinemas of this network will hold pre-premiere and premiere screenings, including of this year’s Academy Awards hits. Helios will make sure that everyone felt comfortable during these film visits, while observing all health and safety requirements. By planning a cinema visit and buying their tickets earlier, viewers can choose the best seats and save money with the offer “Wcześniej kupujesz, więcej zyskujesz” [“Buy early, gain more”].

    Literally, a few minutes after lifting the ban on cinema operations, Helios cinemas will make their screening rooms available to cinema lovers thirsty for emotions at the highest level. On the night of the opening, the viewers will be able to watch pre-premiere screenings of the winner of three Academy Awards — the film “Nomadland”, the blockbuster “Godzilla vs. Kong”, the new film of Guy Ritchie “Wrath of Man” and the much-awaited “Mortal Kombat”.

    From the first day of operation of the cinemas, already during regular screening hours, viewers will be able to watch other Academy Awards hits – these are: “Promising Young Woman” (Best Original Screenplay), “Sound of Metal” (Best Sound, Best Achievement in Film Editing), “The Father” with Oscar-winner Anthony Hopkins and “Minari” (Oscar in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role). There will also be pre-premiere screenings of the Oscar-winner in the category of Best International Feature Film — “Another Round” will be screened during the weekend of 22 and 23 May.

    For young viewers, the network has prepared equally attractive screenings: winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film — “Soul”, a film full of adventure for the whole family — “Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite”, and a production for families “JerryMaya's Detective Agency: The Secret of the Train Robber”.

    One week later — from 28 May, in addition to the above-mentioned films, there will also be other premiere screenings: “Cruella” with phenomenal Emma Stone, a Polish romantic comedy set in the context of football — “Druga połowa” [“Second Half”] or an animation for the youngest viewers — “The Croods: A New Age”.

    In addition, as early as on 29 May viewers longing for sports emotions will be able to watch on a large screen the broadcast of the Champions League final. Moreover, during the weekend of 29 and 30 May and on 1 June, a lot of attractions on the occasion of the Children’s Day will await the children! Helios traditionally relies on a wonderful fairy-tale repertoire, numerous contests and games for the whole family.

    Popular special screenings will also return to the large screen. “Cruella” will be presented as part of the Kino Kobiet [Cinema for Women] project on 9 June. Nocne Maratony Filmowe [Night Filmathons] will invite viewers to two screenings: on 11 and 25 June. Within the framework of the Kino Konesera [Connoisseur Cinema] project, the following titles will be screened: “The Burnt Orange Heresy”, “Here We Are” and “Zabij to i wyjedź z tego miasta” [“Kill It and Leave This Town”]. In turn, on 10 June, the amateurs of music experiences will be able to participate in an extraordinary event organised as part of the Helios na Scenie [Helios on Stage] cycle — the rebroadcast of the Bon Jovi concert from Encore Nights (in selected cinemas).

    Along with the anticipated premieres, Helios also returns to its unique offer: “Wcześniej kupujesz, więcej zyskujesz” [“Buy early, gain more”]. In order to benefit from it and save up to PLN 9, one only needs to buy a ticket several days before the planned visit to the cinema. The offer refers to regular screenings and films for families.
